Nylon magazine has given me an insight into what I want my music magazine to look like and what it will contain. Nylon magazine is an American magazine which focuses on fashion and pop culture. It is a bright and colourful magazine which instantly catches the attention of passers by. I did not want my music magazine to be the same as many others, boring, plain and repetitive but to be different from all of the others that are being created. Like Nylon magazine music magazine will stand out among others with its bold masthead and eye catching front cover image. The celebrity’s features on the covers of Nylon magazine are all very known and popular and even if someone does not know them, they will want to know more about them after looking at their picture. This is how I want my audience to be towards my music magazine, I want them to be attracted and want to read my music magazine as it is aimed towards them. The design of the above front cover will be quite similar to my own as I intend to replicate the image taken of Ashley Olsen. Though I will use some of the ideas from this front cover, my music magazine will be unique as I have added my own creative ideas into creating my soon to be successful music magazine.
